Age 82 of Bethel Park, PA, passed away January 9, 2017.  Wife of the late Phillip J Didion; daughter of the late Walter & Dorothy Ruffing; sister of Karen Augustine, Roberta Pekar and a baby brother; loving mother of Phillip (Catherine) Didion, Diana Lamoreau, and the late Leslie Didion and Kathleen Didion; cherished grandmother of Emily, Phillip, Douglas, Marlaina and Katrina; great-grandmother of Lawrence and Aiden.  Charlene grew up in Carrick and graduated from St. Canice high school.  She moved to Bethel Park to live in the home her husband built for them in 1954.  She lived there for 59 years.  She was a member of St. Valentine’s church.  She worked for Pittsburgh Testing Laboratories, Secretary for St. Sylvester Church and clerk / typist for Mayview State Hospital 1978 to 1994. Avid reader and seamstress, loved classical music, travelling and eating out.  Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Paul L. Henney Memorial Chapel, 5570 Library Rd. Bethel Park.  Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, 10 am, at St. Valentine Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Memory Care Unit of Paramount Senior Living, 5785 Baptist Road, Bethel Park PA 15102.
