Elizabeth M. "Libby" (Kurta) Zahradnik

age  93 , of Bethel Park, originally from Uniontown, Pa,  passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, February 18, 2017.   She was the beloved wife of Michael S., who preceded her in death.  Loving mother of Rose Ann Crum(Ron) , Michael J. (the late Bea )and , Elizabeth “Betsy” Zahradnik all of Bethel Park: Anna Marie “Amy” (Bill) Storrs of Mt. Lebanon:

Robert  J (  the late Carrie  )and  Monica Watson (Calvin) both of Florida : and was preceded in death by her son Francis “Jerry” Zahradnik (surviving daughter-in-law Corinne)  also survived by  loving grandchildren,  great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded  in death by eight siblings.

Libby  was a longtime member of St. Valentine’s Parish  and was a member of Christian Mothers.

Friends will be received on Wednesday  from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm at the Paul L. Henney Memorial Chapel, 5570 Library Road, Bethel Park, Pa., followed by a Mass of the Christian Burial at 1:00pm  at St. Valentine's Church.

Interment will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Valentine’s Parish  Building Fund.
