Formerly of Churchill Rd in Bethel Park;  passed away on the eve of her 94th birthday, Friday, July 22, 2016; shewas born in Preston, GA. She was very proud not only of her Southern Roots but also being from the same area as President Jimmy Carter;  wife of the late James  R. Hersche and Alvin J. Drecnik;  beloved mother of Bonnie Buttice- Wilbur, Mike(Chris) Drecnik and Debra(Paul) Warden; grandmother of Mary Buttice and Michael(Mercedes) Buttice, Jeffrey(Heather) Drecnik, Joshua(Leanne Harkins) Drecnik and Janelle(Ben) Filippini. Great grandmother of Rebecca, Amanda, Tony, Alexa, Andrew, Betsy, Kiera and Molly; she was the last surviving sibling of 3 brothers and one sister.  She was an active member of Peters Creek Baptist Church, Ladies Circle.  She worked as a LPN at Bethel Park Convalescent Home where she enjoyed caring for older people..  Family and friends will be received on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 at Paul L. Henney Memorial Chapel, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park where funeral services will be held Monday, 1 PM. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park.   In her memory donations can be made to The American Diabetes Assoc. or  Arthritis Foundation of Western PA.
