Born January 15, 1921 in Somerset County, PA, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2016.  Mr. Gundrum served as a Sergeant in an ordnance company assigned to an Army division in General Patton’s Third Army in World War II.  A longtime resident of Chatham Village, Mt. Washington, PA, his career at Mellon Bank spanned a quarter century.  He enjoyed being out-of-doors and was proud of his son’s accomplishments in Scouting.  Predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Gundrum; he is survived by his son, Dan Gundrum of New York.  There will be a graveside ceremony for family only.  Family requests no flowers and donations can be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars.  Arrangements handled by Paul L. Henney Memorial Chapel, Bethel Park.
