John R. Van Horn
Age 93, on Saturday, January 24, 2015, of Upper St. Clair, formerly of Bethel Park, PA. Beloved husband of Martha, father of Beth Van Horn, Barbara Rawlings (Mark), Jack Van Horn (Kari), Mary Lynn Hohman (Lyle) and Sharon Van Horn (Lou Kohley). Grandfather of Shannon Mondragon (Rob), Jenny Wernly (Mark), Bobby Rawlings, Kevin Rawlings, Kristin Van Horn, John Van Horn, Mary Rush (David), Katie Kohley, Eddie Kohley (Carol) and Emily Laffey. Great-grandfather of Anna, Eleanor, Kara, Siena, Kyan, Jackson, Mae, Landon, Heather, Hope and A.J. Burial private with immediate family. A memorial service for extended family and friends will be held at a later date. Services handled by Paul L. Henney Memorial Chapel, Bethel Park. John R.Van Horn,

of Bethel Park and Upper St Clair, a physicist who worked on the atomic bomb at Los Alamos during World War II and retired from Westinghouse, died on January 24, 2015 after a brief illness.  A memorial service will be held on March 21, 2015 at 11a.m. at Bethel Presbyterian Church, 2999 Bethel Church Road, Bethel Park, Pennsylvania.
