Age 60, of Castle Shannon, passed away on July 18, 2015 after a long, courageous battle with cancer.  Beloved husband of Denise A. Macklen; son of Lois (Richard) Cannon and the late Michael L. (Shirley) Macklen, II;  step-father of Damon, Robert and Christopher; adopted-father of Deana Macklen; brother of Marilyn Planinsek, Susan, Kevin, Wayne and Richie Macklen and Lori Dohar.  He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, extended family and many friends.  Friends will be received on Monday from 1-4 pm, with a service at 4 pm at Paul L. Henney Memorial Chapel, 5570 Library Rd. Bethel Park, PA 15102.  Interment private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his name to Light of Life Mission, 10 E North Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
