Of Bethel Park; age 80; on Wednesday, May 20, 2015; beloved husband of 58 years to Lois J. (Bruno); loving father of Robert F. Schmidt, Jr., David L.(Raymond Horn) Schmidt, Debbie L. Saether; brother of the late Joseph Schmidt; cherished grandfather  of Robert III, Brianne and  Bryan Schmidt and Desiree Saether; also survived by many nieces and nephews.  He was the longtime owner of Bob Schmidt Auto parts, Bethel Park, a member of the Shriners, South Hills Coin Club and Corvette Club. Family and friends will be received Sunday and Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Paul L. Henney Memorial Chapel, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park.  Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday, 10 AM at St. Joan of Arc Church. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery.
