Russell Sherwood-Charles

Age 35, of Bethel Park, passed away suddenly on April 30, 2017.  He was the loving husband of Kelly Gaffney; beloved son of Richard Gaffney, Jr. and Martha Charles; step-father or Kayla, Haley and Lilly; brother of Richard Gaffney, III; grandson of Virginia Brady Gaffney; step-brother of Heather Lynne and Caitlyn Giammarian. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  Russ loved to be outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He loved to fly and camp.  He loved his dogs and his cat, Hobbes.  Russ was a loving husband and step-dad and a loyal friend.  He will be dearly missed.  Friends will be received on Friday, 4-8 pm at Paul L. Henney Memorial Chapel, Bethel Park.  Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
