Ruth M Baughman

Ruth M. Baughman (Beers), of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully at the age of 97 on Saturday, March 18, 2017.  Beloved wife of the late Ray H. Baughman, Sr.; loving mother of Dr. Ray H. (Karen) Baughman, Mary Jane (George) Jones, and Linda Baughman; cherished grandmother of Lara (Dan) Purser, Heather Baughman, Dana (Nathan) Singh, Rebecca Baughman, Alex Baughman, George (Cathy) Jones V, Kristin (Jim) Cramer, Kerrie (Brett) Lutz, and her loving dog Daisy; and great-grandmother to thirteen adoring children. Ruth was a graduate of Penn State and taught for over 30 years in the Bethel Park School District.  She loved to spend her time gardening, traveling and antiquing. She was a long-time member of Ruthfred Lutheran Church.  A private memorial service will be held for the immediate family at Ruthfred, followed by internment at Hebron United Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Penn Hills.  In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that donations be made in Ruth’s name to the Pastor’s Fund at Ruthfred Lutheran Church.
