Age 34, died Saturday, August 13, 2016 from a major brain aneurysm.  He was the loving son of Kathleen and Frederick of South Park Twp., brother of Melanie (Christopher) Kucharik and Randall Hirt.  Steve was a loving uncle to Zachary, Andrew and Addison.  He loved spending time with his nephews and neice, biking, fixing cars and especially camping.  As a child, he belonged to Boy Scout Troop 569, where he developed his love for tent camping and the outdoors.  He graduated from South Park High School and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Edinboro University.  He worked at Redfin Blues Restaurant as a server and was an Art Instructor at Paint Monkey in Lawenceville.  He will be missed by many relatives and friends.  He made his final gift of life by donating his organs to extend the lives of others via CORE transplants.  Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Paul L. Henney Memorial Chapel, 5570 Library Rd. Bethel Park, where a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, 11 am.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Steve’s name to the Howard Levin Clubhouse, 2621 Murray Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15217.
