I did not know Elizabeth, but Joel is a dear friend. I am so sorry for the loss of this young life, but now perpetual light of Christ is shining upon her. This life is not the end, but to be sure, this family will be reunited and rejoice in the presence of the Lamb. May God bless you. And may God care for you during this most difficult time. Prayers as you go through this dark night of the soul.

I knew Liz in middle school, high school, and college. At Penn State, we signed up for ice skating lessons together and went to Icers home games. She was a loud and vibrant fan! I still remember the X-Files poster on her dorm wall, and skating around the rink while she talked about a guy she liked named Scott.
