Age 75; of Bethel Park, formerly of O’Hara Twp. and Indiana, PA; peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018; beloved wife of 54 years to Dr. H Zane Kirk; loving mother of Daniel (Maity) Kirk; Cathryn (fiancé Don Polito) Burgess, and Carlton (Donna Bryant) Kirk; grandmother to Kelli, Katie, Andrew, and Nathaniel; sister of Darrell McClung.  Sharon was a graduate of Milton High School in WVa; also a graduate of Carlow University where she earned her BSN.  She cared for patients at Harmarville Rehabilitation Center and Indiana Regional Medical Center and enjoyed her work as a pediatric nurse throughout her career.  An avid reader, prolific knitter, and inspired cook, she enjoyed most of all time with her family.  Family and friends will be received Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 1-2pm at Calvary Episcopal Church, 315 Shady Ave., Pittsburgh, Pa 15206 where a memorial service will begin at 2pm. .  In lieu of flowers family suggests donations in her memory to Thomas E. Starzl Transplant Institute at UPMC, 3459 Fifth Ave., Pgh, PA 15213. Arrangements handled by Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, Bethel Park, PA.
