Passed away at 94, on April 2, 2024, at home. He was the beloved husband of Joan Bies Newman for 70+ years. They met in 1935 in the first grade of Our Lady of Lourdes Grammar School, Queens Village, Long Island, NY, and were married 18 years later at the same Parish.

Bob spent his entire working career in food sales. First as a door-to-door canvasser, selling home milk delivery with Sheffield Farms and the Borden Company. He then went to the Birdseye Division of General Foods Corp. He was promoted to Sales Manager of Pittsburgh, PA, in 1958. He joined V.L. McClay & Son, Food Brokers, in 1965 to run their Frozen Foods Division. He started Newman Associates, Food Brokers in 1973. He sold the business in 1991 and retired (sort of).
He then started a mission titled Face The Truth America, the Battle to Save the Innocents.
He spent the next 25 years on the streets trying to convince women AND men not to kill their tiny, innocent, defenseless, preborn babies by abortion.
