Rosemary (Fischer) Bako
Of Bethel Park; age 85; passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 23, 2024; beloved wife of almost 60 years to Robert; loving mother of Richard Bako, Daniel Bako, Linda(Joel) Ross, Donald(Kim) Mullen, Timothy(Diane) Mullen, Mark(Mary) Mullen, Margaret (Joe) Triglia; she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra; daughters-in-law Rosie and Susan; beloved family pet Ginger: her sisters Helen, Mabel, Elsie, Joann, Carol and Billie. Robert and Rosemary were blessed with 15 grandchildren; Tamara, Brooke, Daniel, Wade, Jesse, TJ, Mark, Matt, Brett, Mallory, Brandon, Mitch, Katelyn, Bradley and Christina; 11 great grandchildren: Grant, Ella, Cole, Zoey, Brann, Maribella, Grant, Lilly, Aubree, Kaylee, Harlee; Rosemary was a member of St. Valentines Church, Bethel Park and had an immense giving spirit, eager to help many charities including St. Jude, Shriners and The St. Labre Indian School, often including strangers who only needed to ask. Rosemary was a faithful servant of our Lord Jesus Christ, dedicated Bingo Pro, dedicated TOPS Club member: she enjoyed country music and dancing as well as Days of Our Lives which she followed since its beginning in the 1960. Warming others when she was near, with her always present smile and quick wit, known for her stubbornness and strength by her children. Rose had many friends, including Beverly Spalla and left behind a legacy of care and love to all who knew her.
Family and friends will be received Thursday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park. Mass of Catholic Burial will be offered Friday, 10 AM at St. Valentines Church, Bethel Park.
