Formerly of Bethel Park, age 88; peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018; she was wife of the late James F. Layne they married on September 24, 1949 at St. Mary’s Church, North Side, Pittsburgh; loving mother of James M.(Annie) Layne and Karen L.(Nicholas) Sutkovich; grandmother of Steven M.(Lisa) Layne, David J.(Jeannie) Layne, Nicole A.(Rodney) Hanson, Laura(Robert) Propst and Amanda(Donald) Pjontek; great grandmother of Emily, Rodney, Tatum, Tristan, Angelina, Elise, Stephen, DaLesha and Elijah and the late Corrina Paige Layne; sister of the late Betty Detisch, Barbara Azzarella, Geraldine Layne, Charles”Junior” Nedley.  Also survived by nieces and nephews.  Family and friends will be received Monday, 10 AM – 12:30 pm at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park where a blessing service will be held Monday, 12:30PM. Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to Alzheimer’s Assoc., Pittsburgh, 1100 Liberty Ave. E201, Pgh. PA 15222
