Dorothy  J.(Overly)

Of Bethel Park, age 88, who died on Saturday, May 20, 2017; born March 20, 1929 in Mt. Pleasant, PA; daughter of the late Ernest O. and Virginia M. Overly; beloved wife of the late Walter C. Reisch, they were married on October  23, 1953 and enjoyed 46 years of marriage; loving mother of Debra R. Grant, Sharon K.(Clay) Miller and the late Mark A. Reisch; cherished grandmother of Cairn, Clark, Hunter and Shay Reisch, Tyler Grant, Bryan, Ciera and Jayson Miller; sister of Robert(the late Phyllis), Zane(Linia) Overly and the late Thomas(surviving wife, Hedy) Overly; dearest cousin of Geraldine Haines.  Family and friends will be received Wednesday, May 24 from 2-4 PM at Paul L. Henney Memorial Chapel, 5570 Library Rd, Bethel Park where a funeral service will be held immediately after the viewing at 4 PM.  Burial will be private at Bethel Cemetery.  Dorothy attended Seton Hill University and graduated in 1951 from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Home Economics. She taught Nursery School at Fox Chapel Country Day School and Bethel Presbyterian Church.  Dorothy retired from Kaufmann’s after 25 years of dedicated service. She was a longtime member of Bethel Presbyterian Church, a Brownie Leader, loved to bake and travel. In memory of Dorothy, donations may be made to the Bethel Park Historical Society located at 2600 South Park Road Bethel Park, PA 15102.  Please annotate Dorothy Reisch Memorial Fund on the check.
