John David Smearman

John David Smearman, 44, left us on Monday, November 19th 2018. John was a natural-born teacher, avid runner and cyclist, Facebook enthusiast, and moose chaser, who loved a good craft beer, trail riding, and above all else his wife and family. Whether in Pittsburgh, Ocean City, Las Vegas, Chicago, St. Pete, Annapolis, or Alaska, John was good at everything he tried, loved all things education and research, and held two masters degrees in Supply Chain Management. He was a caring and loyal husband, father and friend, and was fiercely protective of his close friends and family. John always had a smile on his face and a story to tell. John was the loving son of Diane and Casey, devoted husband of Kristin, and father for Caitlyn, Alec and Meghan. John is also survived by brothers Thomas (Nicole) and Jim (Karen), nieces and nephews Camden, Blake, Alex, and Harper, and so many friends. John had a witty and sarcastic sense of humor, mixed with a huge heart and capacity for love, and he will be greatly missed.

Friends and family will be received Friday 11/30 from 4-8 pm at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd, Bethel Park.
