Age 83; of Bethel Park; peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2017; son of the late Mary A. Winkler and George Zayac, stepson of the late Charles Winkler; beloved husband of 57 years to Palma (Bucolo) Winkler; loving father of Mary Jo Winkler, Ron

(Margaret Havran) Winkler and Joseph C. (Linda Bucci) Winkler; brother of the late George (surviving wife, Margaret) Winkler; also survived by nieces and nephews. Joseph was a proud Navy Veteran. After many years of employment with the May Company he retired in 1998. Joseph was an active member of St. Valentine Church, “Christian Fathers”, Jugo Slav Club and St. Vincent de Paul Society (charity).  He enjoyed golf, football, traveling and reading. Family and friends will be received Wednesday 6-8 PM and Thursday 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park.  Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday, 10 AM in St. Valentine Church, Bethel Park.  Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 900 Main St., Pgh., PA 15215.
