Maurice “Moe” E.

Of Bethel Park; age 85; peacefully passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018; beloved husband of 58 years to Blanche (Lachowski) Abel; a great Dad to Edmund Abel, Laurie(Don) Rebel, Karen(Rodney) Cesar and Maurice”Deacon”(Samantha Denne) Abel; proud Pap to many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother of Norbert Abel and the late Gilbert Abel, Elsie Siget, Edmund”Ace” Abel and Geraldine Karl.  Moe was a longtime member and usher for decades at St. Germaine Church.  He retired from Xerox Corp. after 30 years of service. He was an Army Veteran and an active member of the Castle Shannon American Legion, Post 490.   Family and friends will be received Monday 2-8 PM at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd. , Bethel Park.  Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday 12 PM at St. Germaine Church, Bethel Park.  Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
