Of Bethel Park; age 80; peacefully passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019; beloved husband of Suzanne L. Carney; loving father of Vanessa Mateer and Pete(Michele Unitas) Carney; grandfather of Grant and Emily Cole, Kian and McKenna Carney; brother of Richard Carney.  Pete was an Army Veteran; he retired from Otis Elevator after 36 years of service.  He was an avid tennis player, snow skier, water skier and horseman.  Family and friends will be received Friday 6-8 PM and Saturday, 11-1 PM at Paul Henney Cremation and Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park, where funeral services will be held Saturday, 1 PM.  Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made in his name to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org) or Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh (www.humaneanimalrescue.org)
