I will always be grateful for Sally's wonderful kindness and encouragement during those crazy-fragile high school years! She certainly changed my life and welcomed me into her warm and wacky world backstage- as she did so many others- when I didn't know how to fit in anywhere... What a legacy she has left----- blessings and love to your family.

Fondly known as "Hendy", Mrs. Henderson was my first my mentor. She was the first adult who really saw my talents and introduced challenges which later helped me realize life opportunities. I have thought many times of her over the years - specific things she said to me, her teaching style, the way she inspired, her special beingness. She was a true teacher and second mother in many senses. I am very saddened to hear this news but know she is an angel now watching over those of us that she knew and cared for, students, friends and family alike. My deepest sympathies and prayers for peace to the family and friends of this marvelous and unique woman.

Thank you Henderson family for sharing this great lady! I'm sure she was late for things and things didn't get done at home because of her dedication to BPHS. She truly had a positive impact on my life. She believed in me and made me give it my all in high school. She taught me life skills that i use every day. I was one lucky girl to spend my high school years with this great teacher. God bless Sally and the rest of the Henderson family.

You definitely made your mark at BPHS, Mrs. Henderson. Your dedication to teens was never unnoticed! You will always be remembered for your kind heart and willingness to always teach, both in the classroom and on the stage. Prayers to the whole Henderson family.

She was such a great teacher and a wonderful woman. I will always remember how she spent time to talk to me and knew about what I was doing. She was one of the first adults in an authority position that felt more like a friend. Heaven got another angel. My deepest sympathies to you Don and your family. She will truly be missed by so many. You and Sally are in my prayers. Tracey Collins (Ashliman)

Oh Sally, you proved that one teacher can change many lives! You certainly changed mine. Your opening the world of theatre to me and my the direction of my life was changed forever. The theatre has been my world ever since. Now, I'm a teacher too. Not a year goes by that I don't tell my students about you. God bless you and keep you and your family!
