Agnes "Aggie" M Keeling

Agnes “Aggie” Keeling, 80, of Bethel Park, died on January 16, 2023. She was the wife of the late Charles “Chuck” Keeling; the very proud mother of Cara Lynn Elder, who was her best friend and soulmate; the very fond mother-in-law and close friend of Jay Elder; grandmother of the adored and cherished Madeline “Maddie” Elder, who was once her little angel and is now a beautiful and loving “grown-up angel”; all of whom are residing in North Strabane.

Aggie taught school for 32 years after earning her master’s degree in Elementary Education from Duquesne University. She taught 11 years in the Baldwin-Whitehall School District, 1 year in Bethel Park School District, and 20 years at St. Valentines School in Bethel Park. Aggie was nominated twice for “Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers”.

Aggie also served her community of Bethel Park as the Past President of the Bethel Park Business and Professional Women’s Club, and as the Past President of the Bethel Park Lions Club.

Family and friends will gather on Thursday, January 19, 2023, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., in Bethel Park. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday, January 20, 2023, at St. Valentines Catholic Church – Our Lady of Hope Parish, in Bethel Park at 10 a.m.

Entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
