Alphonse “Al”
Of Bethel Park; age 86; passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 17, 2022; son of the late Joseph and Spernadine Madia; beloved husband of 64 years to Judy Madia; loving father of Jeff (Debra) Madia and Michael Madia; cherished grandfather of Marisa Madia, Kayla (Heath) McIntire, Christopher Madia and Ashley Madia. Al was a 1958 graduate of Duquesne University school of music where he earned his master's degree. Al worked for the Pittsburgh Public schools for 31 years as a music teacher. Al also enjoyed performing in various jazz groups around the city. Family and friends will be received Monday, July 25th from 4-6 PM at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park, PA where funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 26th at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Gardens. In lieu of flowers please make donations in his memory to Bethel Park Volunteer Fire Department.
