Amber Rose (Speranza) Haefner

Of Bethel Park, age 40; passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer; cherished daughter of Gino and April Speranza; loving wife of Justin; cherished mother of Izabella and Elliana; sister of Jamie and Gina Speranza; sister-in-law of Kristen McAlpine; aunt of Kyle and Kelsey.  Amber was loved by many people.  Most important was her family, she loved being a teacher and the children she taught.  She was a devoted Special Education Teacher at Bethel Park High School and softball coach. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.  In lieu of flowers, the family is setting up a trust for Izzy and Ellie in Amber’s memory, if you would like to donate in her memory you can send to Justin’s Venmo Account, @Just_Haef or checks can be sent and made payable to Justin Haefner, 6110 Brush Run Rd., Bethel Park, PA 15102. A celebration of life service for Amber will be held Saturday August 3rd 2024 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road , Pittsburgh, PA 15236, 412-655-4501. A gathering of friends and family will be from 2-4:30 PM. With a short memorial service at roughly 4:00 PM to 4:15 PM. In memory of Amber please wear something purple or something that has purple in it
Purple ribbons will be provided at the entrance for those that need them.
