Arthur I. Belback

Arthur I. Belback, age 92, of Bethel Park, passed peacefully on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. Beloved husband of Rita Belback. Predeceased by his mother Jeanne (Chambon) Belback and father Ignatz Belback, oldest brother Ray Belback, twin brother Achille Belback, and younger sister Louise Zay. Devoted father of Arthur Jr. (Chris, and his late wife Judy), Kurt (Aimee), Mark (Tammy), Patrice (Robert), and Todd (Maya); loving grandfather of Caroline, Melissa, Michal, Lea, Deborah, Justin, Cary, Christie, Blake, Grant, Robbie, Lisa, and Mariel; great-grandfather of Genevieve, Isabelle, Julia, Gabriel, Haylee, Hayden, Karson, Logan, Wyatt, Corinne, Audrey Ella, Orion, and Emily; also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Arthur was an avid golfer up until his 90th birthday. He also served as a Staff Sergeant in Korea and was awarded a Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He cherished his family above all else. Arthur will be fondly missed by all. In lieu of flowers, donations in Arthur’s name can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society or Little Sisters of the Poor. 

Friends and family will be welcomed on Sunday, October 23 from 2-4 pm and 6-8pm with a prayer service at 7pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas Moore Church, Resurrection Parish on Monday, October 24 at 10am with interment to follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery in Castle Shannon, PA.
