Audrey Ashliman

On Tuesday July 4, 2023, we lost Audrey Ashliman, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Audrey was married to Joseph Ashliman, Jr. on July 28, 1948, and they were married for 56 years until he passed.  She is survived by her three children, Shirley McCafferty of Bethel Park, Tracey Collins (Ed) of Peters Township, and Joseph Ashliman, III (Amy) of Kitanning.  Grandmother of five girls, Jennifer McCafferty, Taylor Collins, Kelsey Collins, Jordan Collins, and Samantha Stoltz (Paul).  Also one great-grandchild Cooper Kisner.  Audrey was a lifelong member of the South Hills Elks, where she was active in the Lady Elks and spent every Tuesday having lunch and playing cards with her best friends.  She enjoyed gardening and was very proud of her poolside garden and all of her flowers.  She was an avid sewer which led her to work at JoAnn Fabrics for many years.  Audrey’s favorite thing was being with her granddaughters playing board games, swimming and beating them all at Rummikub.  She is already missed by all of her family.  She will be laid to  rest at Queen of Heaven next to her beloved husband Joe.  Service and internment are private.
