Brandi K McKee

Brandi K. McKee, 44, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at St. Clair Hospital, on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

She was born on February 23, 1981, in Pittsburgh, PA, to Jack McKee and the late Susan Anthony-McKee.

Brandi was the beloved daughter and stepdaughter of Jack and Beverly McKee; little sister to Brooke (Josh Newton) McKee and Shelley Clark; adoring Aunt to Brylee and Adalee Newton, Alexa and Casey Mitolo and Olivia McElfresh; and love of a life girlfriend to Shawn Tavel.

She is preceded in death by her mom, Susan Anthony-McKee and her grandparents.

Brandi grew up in Swissvale, PA. She graduated from Roanoke College and went on to earn her masters degree at Radford University.  She stayed in the Virginia area and greatly enjoyed her work in Residence Life and Student Affairs.  Brandi loved all things fun and brought that fun to everyone she met.  She was an eternal kid at heart. She was creative and loved reading, journaling, doodling and hand lettering.  She was incredibly caring, empathetic and thoughtful.  She loved all animals, but especially her cats Henry and Sadie. 

A visitation will be held at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, Bethel Park, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, where a funeral service will take place the following day, Wednesday January 21, 2026, at 11am.
