Brenda A. Dunois went peacefully home on January 31, 2025, at 84 years old.
Brenda was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lorraine Edgar.
Beloved wife of the late Francis A. Dunois.
Prior to her marriage to Frank, Brenda served as a Sister of St. Joseph for 19 years, where she served as an educator and later as a nurse. Many of Brendas students kept in contact with her throughout the years. Brenda saw the beauty in every child and the importance of their education.
She leaves behind her sister, Charmaine (the late Edward) Patterson and brother, Joseph (Diana) Edgar. Nieces and nephews; Shawn (Karen) Patterson, Lance (Andrea) Patterson, Leaha (Bill) Nagel, Laura (Candice) Edgar, Yvonne Franke, and Cindy (Ron) Womer. Great nieces and nephews; Joseph Nagel, Deanna (Austin) Herman, Delaney Patterson, Cooper Patterson, and Justin Womer; as well as a dear friend of 70 years, Emily Daschbach, to cherish the laughter and memories.
A Memorial Mass will be offered at St. Bernard Church, 311 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, at 10:00 am, on Friday, February 21, 2025. Inurnment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies will follow at 2:30 pm.
