Calvin “Skip” Hodder

Of Peters Twp., age 71; passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 7, 2024; beloved husband of Liz Hodder; loving father of Blake(Jade) Hodder; son of the late Calvin J. and Marjorie Hodder; step son of Beverly Hodder; brother of Sharon(Jim) Oldham; step father of Adam(Jen) Angelici, Patrick(Kerry) Angelici and Jay(Jen) Monahan; grandfather of Jackson, Aliyah, Hayden, Andrew, Giovanni, and the late Noah Angelici; also survived by many loving family and friends. He had a deep love for his dog Frankee.  He was a well-respected and successful businessman and owner of the family business, C.J. Hodder Lumber Company.  He was an honest, generous and kind-hearted person who always thought of others first. He was the best father a son could ask for, and the best husband a wife could ask for.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.  Family and friends will be received Wednesday 6-8 and Thursday 2-4 & 6-8PM at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park.  Funeral services will be held Friday, 11 AM at Peters Creek Baptist Church, 6300 Library Rd.
