Carole Ann Milanek, 88, of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2026, at Newhaven at Clearview in Butler after a lengthy battle with Dementia.

In addition to her career, Carole enjoyed spending time with her family, outdoor yardwork, the Phipps Conservatory flower shows and traveling on cruise ships to many different countries. She was a devoted mom, wife, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. Carole married Ronald Milanek on November 8, 1975, at the Bethel Presbyterian Church. They were married for 50 years.
Carole is survived by her husband, Ron; her two sons, Larry (Lisa) Boyer and Robert (Wanda) Boyer; her daughter, Suzanne (Mark) Schaefers; her step-daughter, Marian (Greg) Moorman; her step-son Matthew Milanek; eight grandchildren, Erika, Morgan, Geoffrey, Brooke, Zachary, Elizabeth, Kathryn and Shelby; two great-grandchildren, Eli and Vina; her sister, Marge (Bill) Smoker; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her stepson, Michael Milanek.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Family Hospice and the staff of Newhaven Court for the compassionate care they provided for Carole. A special thanks goes to Family Hospice volunteer, Jen, for the kindness and support she provided to Carole through her end-of-life journey.
