Constance E. Seman
(Snyder)
Connie Seman, of Bethel Park, rested her mind and body on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of the late Donald Seman, this quote sums up their life together. She taped it to his framed photograph: "This I will remember when the rest of life is through, the finest thing I've ever done is simply loving you.” (R. Sexton)
Originally from Johnstown, PA, she was the daughter of Edward and Dorothy Snyder and sister of Carole, Kathleen, and Norman.
After high school, Connie attended Pittsburgh School of Nursing. As a Registered Nurse, she worked “everywhere” and cared for countless patients over her nearly 40-year career.
A diehard fan of the Black & Gold, voracious reader, and champion of all creatures great and small, Connie loved nothing more than to snuggle on the couch with a book and her animals. Even her birds, chipmunks, squirrels, and deer will miss her.
With Donnie, she raised six children with love - Amy, Eric, Matthew, James, Robert, and Chris. She taught us kindness, honor, tenacity, and social justice, with a healthy dose of impropriety.
Connie adored her grandchildren, loved being with them, and gushed with pride when she wasn’t. They include Andrew, Adam, Alexandra, Sean, Emily, and great-granddaughter AvaGrace.
She will join the love of her life in a private burial at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
Family, friends, neighbors, and acquaintances will be welcomed at her home for a Celebration of Life on Saturday August 13. The link below will provide details and be updated.
