Constance (Connie) L. Butler, of Bethel Park, Pa, passed away on March 10, 2026.
She was born in McKeesport, Pa, on January 23, 1931.
Beloved wife of the late James J. Butler Jr. Loving Mother of Barbara A. Crozier (John), Carol S. Stewart, and Thomas J. Butler (Pamela). Proud and loving Grandmother of Nathan (Nini), Jonathan (Judy), Justin (Miriam), Michael (Lucy), Madelyn, Ross (Nina), Chloe (Jared), and Grant. Great Grandmother of Tolly, Thomas, Olivia, Isla, Lettie, Garrison, Elliana, Aiden, Lincoln, Bennett, Stella, and Madison. Daughter of the late Angelo and Mary Rose Fusco.
She was preceded in death by her brother Ted Fusco, and sisters Carmella DelBene, and Natalie Ricci.
Connie was an active member of St. Valentine Church since 1956 and participated in many facets of church life. She served as President of Women’s Guild (Christian Mothers), spent 2 terms on the parish council, lectured for many years, and sang in the Resurrection Choir.
Connie’s hobbies included golfing in the St. Valentine Women’s League, bowling (at which she loved and was quite proficient), and playing bridge with her church and neighborhood friends.
Her infectious smile, caring demeanor, and zest for life brought joy and happiness to her family and many others she encountered, including the many friends made the last 4 years at Discovery Commons.
Visitation will be held at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, Bethel Park, on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Valentine Catholic Church (Our Lady of Hope Parish) on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 10am. Everyone please meet at church.
