Obituary

D.J. Taylor

D.J. (Donald Jack) Taylor, Jr., 54, of Bethel Park, on Sunday, April 24, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife, Amy; and adoring children, Zachary and Alea.  Beloved son of Donald and Eleanor Taylor; cherished brother of Tracey Taylor Perles (Terry) and Lisa Wolf (John).   Godson to William Woods and Judy Tyler.  D.J. was a man of many interests equally skilled in the outdoors and in the kitchen.  He was interested in everyone and could easily have a meaningful discussion with anyone.  He was a friend to many and derived great pleasure out of lending a helping hand whenever possible.  D.J. could fix anything and was primarily self-taught.  D.J. was a paramedic for 30 years and a tactical medic team leader for SHACOG.  He was a Mason and a Shriner.  Despite his many interests, D.J.’s primary interest was his family.  His greatest joy was being with and taking care of his family.  Friends may join family members for a celebration of life on Wednesday, April 27 at 11 a.m., Ruthfred Lutheran Church, 3401 South Park Rd, Bethel Park, PA 15102.  There will be no interment. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to “Erie Shriners Hospital”, Send to: Syria Shriners, Att: Syria Recorder, 1877 Shriners Way, Cheswick, PA 15024-1075.
