Of Bethel Park, died on Monday, October 14, 2024, peacefully at home, surrounded by his family 11 days short of his 98th birthday. Beloved husband of Elisabetta Scalamogna Didiano for 72 years. Father of Rosa, Josephine, Filomena (Chris Ulatowski) and Pasquale (Carol) Didiano.

Preceded in death by his parents, Pasquale Didiano and Rosa Tolomeo Didiano, brother Giacomo Didiano (surviving spouse Filomena Greco Didiano), and sister Filomena Didiano Gullo (late Vincenzo Gullo). All of Maierato, Italy.

Grandfather of Heather Ann (Shawn) Heusser, Mara Beth, Brendan (Meg) and Christina Didiano. Great grandfather of Paul, Palmer, Berkley and twins: Amelia and Bethany.

Brother in law of Maria Teresa Greco Scalamogna (late Frank Scalamogna), Paul (Linda Smith), Domenic (late Christine) Scalamogna, the late Nunziata DeFina (late Nazzareno), and Grazia Scalamogna (late Giuseppe). Also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews in Pittsburgh, Florida, Canada, and Maierato, Italy.

Family and friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park.  Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday, 10 am at Our Lady of Hope Parish/St. Valentine Church.  Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
