Eileen E. Meier

Eileen E. Meier, 88, of Bethel Park, passed away on June 27, 2023, with family by her side.

She was the loving wife of the late Norman “Norm” R. Meier for 59 years; beloved mother to Ken (Carole), Ronald (Ronalee), and Dan (Laura) Meier; grandma to Tim (fiancé, Denise), Dr. Robert (Kayli), Emily (Nick), Zachary, Scott (Stephanie), Richie (Ashley), Carolyn (Michael), Dr. Elizabeth, and Sarah; great grandma to Josh, Alex, Andrew, Isabella, and Elliot.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, the late Richard and Helen Kraus, as well as a sister, Martha Swope and brother-in-law, Herbert Swope.

Throughout her life, up until the age of 80, Eileen participated in a Wednesday afternoon bowling league. Eileen loved watching all the local sports teams, especially the Pirates.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and especially grandmother. Taking care of her family was her calling in life.

Family and Friends will gather on Friday, June 30, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Road, Bethel Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Germaine – Our Lady of Hope Parish, 7003 Baptist Road, Bethel Park, on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 12:00 p.m.

Entombment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park.
