Eleanor Jane Porter-Cowen-Marshall, 102 of West Mifflin, formerly of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2024. Jane, as she preferred to be called, was born on April 22, 1922, & was the last surviving of 7 siblings of Ada & Louis Porter. She met Harry E. Cowen, Jr & they married on May 30, 1945. They remained married until August 1986, when Harry passed away from ALS. They had four children together; Barbara Fleming (deceased); Susan Yaklich, (Dan); Janet Bowman, (Richard); Skip Cowen, (Pam); 5 grandchildren, Bobby, Ryan, Heather, Bradley & Kristen, and 5 great grandchildren, and 4 great, great grandchildren. Jane met her second husband Orville & they married in May of 1996 & remained married until Orville’s passing in 2004. Jane leaves behind her close companion, John Dranko, with whom she shared time at their residence. Jane was a devout Christian, attending Christ United Methodist Church in Bethel Park, for many years. To keep with Jane’s wishes, there was no viewing. Condolences can be left at Paul Henney Funeral Home website. A memorial service is being planned to take place in the spring, close to her birthday.
