Of Bethel Park, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at the age of 41.

Beloved daughter of Mark and Kathleen Johnson; devoted mother of Jaxson Mark Gasbarrini; and cherished sister of Gregory (Abigail) Johnson. Emily was also the beloved aunt of Spencer Johnson and is survived by Jaxson's father, Dante Gasbarrini, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Emily earned her Registered Nursing degree from Mercy Hospital and dedicated herself to caring for others.  Emily especially loved spending time with children, and her greatest joy in life was her son, Jaxson, who was truly the light of her life.

The family wants to express their gratitude for the great care she received at the UPMC Transplant Unit.

Visitation will be private. Family and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Germaine Church in Bethel Park.
