Frank "Gene" E. Shaw

Of Bethel Park; age 83; passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 9, 2024; son of the late Chris and June Basich; beloved husband of 59 years to Patricia; loving father of  Billy(Laura) Shaw and the late Chris Shaw;  grandfather of Sunny, Sydney, Sammy, Forrest, Violet, and Mason Shaw; brother of the late Lynne Gari; dear friend of Lizz Santos; Frank was a proud Navy Veteran where he sang in the Navy Blue Jacket Choir.  He retired from AT&T after many years of service and then owned The Rookies Sports Card Shop in Bethel Park. He enjoyed gardening, reading science fiction, and watching Pittsburgh sports. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park where services will be held Thursday 12:30.  Burial will follow at National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with Military Honors.
