Of Pittsburgh, age 85; passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 28, 2021; beloved husband of Carole (Hampsay) Mattola; loving father of Scott(Carrie), Bob(Elvylet), Fred and Ken(Colleen) Mattola; grandfather of  Marissa, Luke, Kyle, Brian, Justin, Tanya(Cory), Steven, Leah, Brittany(James), Kelsey(Mike) and Nathan; preceded in death by his brothers and sisters.  Family and friends will be received on Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park where a blessing service will be held Monday, 11 AM. Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family suggests donations in his memory to St. Clair Hospital Foundation, stclair.org/giving.
