George Schall

George R. “Chip” Schall

Of Bethel Park; passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026

 son of the late George A and Agnes Schall; beloved husband of 55 years to the late Lorraine Schall; father of Erik Schall and Tracy (Jeff) Gongas; grandfather of Ella Schall, Gage, Anna and Skye Gongas; brother of Mark(Marlene) Schall; uncle of Mike Schall, Meghan Schall, Mitchell Schall, Morgan Schall, Scott Wachter, Shelley Sprung and the late Sean Sprung;  Family and friends will be received on Monday, June 8th from 5-7 PM at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park where a blessing service will take place Tuesday, June 9th at 9:45 AM.  Burial will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at 11:00 AM with Military Honors.

George was a Navy Vietnam Veteran, AE2 from 1969 – 1973. George spent a lifetime doing what he loved most-being on the water. Whether casting a line at sunrise or sharing stories of the day’s catch, he found peace and joy on the water. Fish on Chip!
