George L. Varney

Age 73, of Plum, formerly of Bethel Park, passed on July 6, 2022. Preceded in death by his father Fred J. Varney, Sr. and mother Ellen Varney. Loving brother of Fred J. Varney, Jr.; brother-in-law of Carolyn Varney; uncle of James (Renee) M. Varney and Julie (Robert) M. Manion; great uncle of Jonathan, Crystal, Noah, and Jenna. 

An avid reader, George enjoyed wooden puzzles and was a computer whiz. He loved traveling to New Orleans. George was also a life-long Steelers fan. 

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, July 8 from 5-8pm at Paul Henney Cremation and Funeral Tributes 5570 Library Road, Bethel Park where a blessing service will be held at 8pm. A graveside service will be Saturday, July 9 at 11am at Jefferson Memorial Park.
