James R. Edwards

Of Whitehall; age 77; passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026; son of the late Theodore and Rachel Edwards; beloved husband of Judy, they spent 44 years together; father of James Edwards, Jr. and JoAnn (Shaun) Sears; he is also survived by his grandchildren and was affectionally known as Pappy.  There will be no services per his wishes.   Jim was an Air Force Veteran, serving during Vietnam where he was an airplane mechanic.  He later became auto mechanic working at various auto places.   He was a wonderful neighbor and friend, helping in any way he could, earning the nickname, Lawn Mower Man.   He will be missed by all who knew him.
