James “Jim” Patrick Fallon, Jr., 94, of South Park, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.
Born in Pittsburgh on January 1, 1931, he was the beloved and first-born son of the late James and Mary (Huber) Fallon, Sr.
Jim was the devoted husband to Mary C. (Ackerman) Fallon for 66 years, until her passing on February 10, 2025; the loving father of Dr. Ann Fallon (David Atencio), James Fallon (Suzanne), Maureen Zeher, and Christine McKenna (David); brother of Thomas, Dennis and the late Ronald Fallon; grandfather of Laura, Shannon, Patrick, Caitlin, Christina, Ryan, Meagan, Phillip, Alexander and Ashton; and the great grandfather of Makayla, Nathaniel, Mateo, Blake and Mason.
Jim was a CPA and Director of Accounting at Allegheny Ludlum Steel, where he was employed until earning his retirement. He was also a member of the Duquesne Dukes 1955 NIT Championship team where he was known as the “Try Guy”.
He will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 10:30 am, at St. Louise De Marillac Church-St. Catherine Laboure Parish, 320 McMurray Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15241. Please meet at church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
