James “Jim” Spano

Of Bethel Park; age 78; passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021; beloved husband of Carol Spano; loving father of Chrissy(Brian)Pifer and Tina(Mark) Spano; grandfather of Zachary(Megan)Bert, Sydney Pifer, CJ and Lily Harbison; brother of Gloria(Jim)Monfredi, Dominic(the late Carol)Spano, Tommy Spano, Patricia(the late Bernie)Antonio and the late Elsie(Tony) Mattucci; also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Jim was a Vietnam Army Veteran and worked for First Student for many years.  He was a member and President of ATU Local 1753.  Family and friends will be received Wednesday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park where a blessing service will be Thursday, 10 AM.  Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery with full Military Honors.  Donations in his memory can be made to the Vietnam Veterans, Inc.
