She was the most cherished Nana of Andrew (Jamie) Kuskil, Scott (Kaitlin) Scheeser, Olivia (Jonathan) Kelly, Alan (Laura) Kuskil, Sarah (Jason) Bialek, Allison (Brandon) Nicholson.
Most proud great-grandmother of Brandon and Amelia Kelly, Aubrielle Nicholson, Margot and Dean Kuskil, Brees and Capri Bialek, and Luke, Claire and Audrey Jean Scheeser.
Jean was the dearest sister of Helen Hixson and sister-in-law, Rose Becker, the late Paul Becker, Margaret Hoebler and Richard Becker.
Jean graduated from St. Francis Academy and the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a dedicated registered nurse at Mercy Hospital throughout her career. Jean was a woman of deep faith, a devout Catholic and the model of a Godly life.
Jean’s greatest joy was found in being with her beloved Don, her children and grandchildren. She loved her trips with family to the ocean. She was always the first to lend a hand, offer a kind word, a warm hug and a kiss on the cheek…..thus her nickname, “the kissing bandit”. With her twinkling blue eyes, she brought joy and so much love to her family, and was a lady to the end. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
