Jennifer J. Thimons 1971-2024

Jennifer J. Thimons, 52, known as Jen by her friends and JJ by her older brother passed away March 21, 2024. Jen attended Bethel Park High School then  graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1993 from California University of Pennsylvania majoring in Mathematics Education. She also earned additional credits toward her Masters in Education.

Directly out of college from 1993 - 2002 Jen was employed by Highlands School District where her position was Gifted Coordinator and Math Teacher. Her later career choices were Director for a children’s extra curricular educational program, bookkeeper, and property manager.

She loved travel and accumulated a vast collection of turtles over the years. She was generous, when she had resources and share them with the people she cared about. She chose her own path through life, triumphs and trials alike. She would only change direction by her own agency, not at the behest of others. Jen was the “wild child” of the family.

Jennifer is survived by her mother Janet Davidson and adoptive father Dennis Kowalski in addition to her brothers Sean Davidson; Daniel Kowalski; two nephews and four nieces.

There was no visitation and funeral services will be private.
