H. Jerold  “Jerry” Baker

Of Bethel Park; age 85; passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024; beloved husband of the late Sharon; loving father of Deborah(Ron) Schwarzel, Matthew(Jill Sansom and the late Dori), Michelle(Kerry) Green and the late Jeffrey M. Baker; brother of Beverly(Ron) Huston and Greg(the late Claudia); cherished grandfather of Jen(JJ) Davis, Mike, Nick(Lexie) and Zak Schwarzel, Justin(Madison) Baker, Carly(Josh Abbott), Lucy Baker and Sara Green; and he is  soon to be a great grandpa, also survived by several nieces and nephews.   Jerry was a member of the Iron Workers Local #3. He was a proud Navy Veteran and was one of the original members of the South Hills Honor Guard, a member of the Bethel Park American Legion #760 and member of the Masonic Lodge.  He was an avid Pittsburgh Sports fan enjoying the Pirates and Steelers.  Family and friends will be received Thursday, October 17th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park where a funeral service will be held Friday, October 18th at 11 AM. Burial will follow at The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full Military Honors.  In lieu of flowers donations in his memory can be made to American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org
