Jerry L. Bitner, 88, of South Fayette, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024.
Jerry was born on March 6, 1935, to the late Vernie B. and Lena Louise (Sauer) Bitner.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Nesvisky; children, Terri (Scott) Spencer, Bob (Claudia) Bitner, Rita (Bob) Stone, and Ann (Jim) Graeca. Stepchildren, David Nesvisky and Eileen (Wayne) Geffrey. Jerry enjoyed spending time with his 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Patricia (McConville) Bitner and a son, Rick Bitner.
Jerry graduated with his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and earned his Master’s degree at Washington State University in Engineering.
Jerry was a talented jack of all trades, loved collecting and working on cars, spending time gardening, eating vanilla ice cream, and collecting a multitude of items – you name it, he collected it!
He was a devoted family man and a loyal friend.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 10:30 am, at St. Louise de Marillac, 320 McMurray Road.
Interment will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
