Of Bethel Park; age 89; passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 5, 2022; son of the late Henry and Edna Koehnke; beloved husband of the late Marlyn (Akerly); loving father of Mark (Linda); proud grandfather of Michael (Maria); brother of Doris Larson, Mary Lee Dahlinger and the late H. Calvin Koehnke; also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob had a big heart and was very kind and generous to those in need. Bob was an Army Veteran during the Korean War and a member of Ruthfred Lutheran Church.  He was a Past Master (1978) of the Dormont (now Greater South Hills) Masonic Lodge #684 and a member of the Shriners.  He was the owner of J.R.  Koehnke Flooring and a member of the Master Builders.  Family and friends will be received on Saturday 12-1 PM at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd. Bethel Park where funeral services will be held Saturday, 1 PM. Per the family’s request, everyone please wear a mask.   Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park with military honors.  The family would like to thank the staff at Asbury Place and Suncrest Hospice for the wonderful care they provided. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Asbury Place or Suncrest Hospice.
