John Oluszak

John Oluszak (79) of Bethel Park, Pa passed away on October 24, 2024.  John was born to Stanley and Olga Oluszak on December 16th, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pa. Beloved husband of Connie for 54 years.  Father of Cindie Oluszak-Zanandrea (John), John Gregory Oluszak (Jill) and grandfather of Kyla and Ryan.

Brother of Barbara Helwig, brother-in-law of John & Bev Naugle, Bob & Patiie Markovic, Tom & Melanie Naugle, and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

After graduating high school, John went on to major in history at West Virgina Wesleyan College and was a brother of the Theta Chi Fraternity. While attending college he met and fell in love with Connie.  They got married in June of 1970 and were with each other through all life’s ups and downs.  

After graduating from WVWC, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy.  He served on the U.S.S. Sommers during the Vietnam War.  After he was honorably discharged, he went on to work for Spencer Gifts where he worked for the next 36 years.

John loved to go on vacation to Ocean City, New Jersey, with family.  John was an avid animal lover and enjoyed spending time with his beloved pet cat, Jack. He loved playing golf with friends and family and riding his bike on the Montour Trail.  

Friends and family will be received at Paul Henney Funeral Home in Bethel Park, Pa, on Tuesday, October 29th  between 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd, Bethel Park.

Funeral service will be held at Christ United Methodist Church, 44 Highland Road in Bethel Park, on Wednesday, October 30th at 11am.
